The Foundation

Musicabana is an organization that promotes mutual understanding between the people of Cuba, the United States, and the rest of the world, through year-round musical, artistic and cultural events that emphasize and enrich shared history, traditions and values.

Musicabana is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.

Our Mission

By promoting its role in the Caribbean, Cuba will become a revitalizing force and a catalyst for cultural change in a region that stretches from Colombia and Venezuela’s Amazonia to the Gulf of Mexico, Veracruz, Jamaica, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Florida, New Orleans, and beyond.

Our mission is to promote Cuba as a premier destination for the discovery of new sonic horizons and a vital center of the music world. We work hard to encourage local talent through year-round workshops and cultural programs that foster new cultural dynamics between Cuba, the Caribbean, and the rest of the world.
